Ponce Grabs BC Reliever of the Year Award Monday, September 6th , 2083 At the young age of only 20, Esteban Ponce has been named the Beta Conference Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2083. The future appears bright for the Milwaukee Explorers relief ace, who captured the award with 12 saves in 54 relief appearances, 67 strikeouts in 87.1 innings and a record of 6-4 to go with his 1.96 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Xiao-shuang Duan of the Trois-Rivieres Aquanauts finished second in voting, while Andy Leyva of the Madison Sky Warriors finished third.
