AC's Top Pitcher is Ortiz Tuesday, September 12th , 2079 The Alpha Conference announced today that Hector Ortiz has been chosen the Outstanding Pitcher Award winner for 2079. The Toledo starter had everything working for him this past season as he soared to a 11-2 record. In his exceptional season Ortiz chalked up a 1.50 ERA in 149.2 innings with 196 strikeouts and 34 walks. Enemy teams hit .157 against him in his 20 starts.
