Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Fazio Sunday, September 10th , 2079 Jose Fazio said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 20 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Gilbert Bulldozers rising star has won the Beta Conference Reliever of the Year Award for 2079. He captured the award on the strength of his 0.57 ERA over 47 innings. He also had 13 saves in 31 relief appearances, 45 strikeouts and only 12 walks. He received 25 first place votes out of a possible 30. Shane Shackelford of the Madison Sky Warriors finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Sherman Lara of the Salt Lake Stingers finished third.
