Ryan Kopetsky Out for 4-5 Months Saturday, August 7th , 2083 After injuring himself, Blues reliever Ryan Kopetsky headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Kopetsky will miss at least 4-5 months with a torn back muscle. Thus far this season, Kopetsky has compiled a 3-1 record, made 27 relief appearances with 14 saves, hurling 27.2 innings and striking out 21. He has held the opposition to a .192 batting average with a 1.63 ERA. |
