Relly Crousse Injured, Out for Season
Saturday, August 7th , 2083
The East Lansing Mighty Gulls learned that Relly Crousse is likely to be out for 12-13 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Glendale Beachcombers. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the East Lansing manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Relly is back in action."

In 16 starts this season, Crousse has notched a 6-1 record and a 3.79 ERA.
