Scots Hurtado Gone for Year Wednesday, August 16th , 2079 Hoxie right fielder Willie Hurtado left today's game with a broken kneecap. The injury looked like it occurred being hit by a pitch in the game against Grand Blanc. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Scots without Hurtado for about 5 months. To date, Hurtado has collected 19 hits for a .218 average. He has posted 3 home runs, scored 8 runs and driven in 10 runs. |
