Gecko Out of Playoff Race Monday, July 18th , 2078 After a tough year, the Paradise Gecko have been the butt of jokes around many water coolers in the Paradise area. There will be some new fodder for jaded fans to discuss now -- the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2073. In total, the Gecko have missed the playoffs 33 times in their 34-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Gecko have only made the playoffs once. |
