Salomons Swats 3 Homers Tuesday, July 12th , 2078 Orlando Sword Swallowers center fielder Levi Salomons had a magnificent game against the Lake Dalecarlia Saxons, rocketing three balls out of Saxons Ballpark to help the Sword Swallowers win, 5-0. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Salomons went 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Orlando manager said later. "Seems like Levi found his home run stroke today." Levi Salomons hit a two-run home run off Jim Foreman in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Foreman in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Foreman in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This year, Salomons is batting .281 with 16 home runs. |
