"It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Gao said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them." The 22-year-old issued no walks and had 7 strikeouts in the Blackbirds win. Currently Gao has a 4-3 won-lost record in 5 starts with a 2.54 ERA. He also has 64 strikeouts in 56.2 innings.
