Playoffs Won't Happen for Ensigns Thursday, July 18th , 2080 Not even the most diehard Hillsboro Ensigns fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Ensigns were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. Hillsboro last appeared in the postseason in 2060. This is their 20th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 85 times in their 91-year history. Hillsboro has won the League Championship 4 times in their history. |
