Beachcombers Buried - Out of Playoffs Monday, July 15th , 2080 In the middle of a disastrous season, it would be understandable if Glendale Beachcombers fans had already started to turn their attention to next year. Doubly so as of today, as the Beachcombers have now been officially eliminated from playoff contention. Glendale last appeared in the postseason in 2049. This is their 31st consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 76 times in their 91-year history. Glendale last won the League Championship in 1998. |
