Allomes Scorches Blues for 3 HR Saturday, June 27th , 2076 Damon Allomes was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 10-0 St. Louis Hammers triumph at Blues Grounds today. The 20-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Hammers past the New Orleans Blues. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Allomes told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The right fielder went 3-for-4, rung up 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Damon Allomes hit a GRAND SLAM off Ramon Serrano in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ramon Serrano in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Jesus Barajas in the 8th. This year Allomes has hit at a .266 clip with 75 hits, 15 home runs, 38 RBIs and 40 runs scored. |
