BC Names Best Player Monday, July 1st , 2080 Victoria Seals first baseman Roger Sexton walked away with the Beta Conference Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Seals fans are really behind me right now," said the 21-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Sexton batted .360 (9-for-25) with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs this week on his way to the award. Sexton is batting at a .223 pace this season, picking up 31 hits in 139 at-bats with 10 home runs, 28 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |
