Season Over for Dan Wells in Glendale Saturday, June 29th , 2080 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Scott County Cougars, Bruisers starting pitcher Dan Wells was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 12-13 months with a torn rotator cuff. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Glendale skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. This season in 15 starts, Dan Wells has a record of 6-4 with 69 strikeouts in 81 innings and a 2.56 ERA. |
