Davila Shuts Out Polecats Tuesday, April 30th , 2080 Hoxie Scots fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Nelson Davila blanked the Mastic Beach Polecats, 4-0, at Scots Ballpark. Davila stopped them on 2 hits while walking 1 and striking out 8. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Scots skipper said. "He was on top of his game in this one."
