Aquanauts Guillermo Pino Will Miss Season Monday, April 29th , 2080 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Guillermo Pino of the Aquanauts knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Fairbanks Goldpanners while throwing a pitch. Because of a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament, the Trois-Rivieres starting pitcher is expected to miss 11 months. Pino was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." On the season, Pino has a 1-1 record with a 2.90 ERA. |
