Snook Slams 3 Deep for Salt Lake Sunday, April 7th , 2080 Hank Snook showed off his power as he launched three balls into the seats against the Glendale Beachcombers and sparked the Stingers to a win, 6-5. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Salt Lake City Field." For the day, Snook collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 3 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Salt Lake skipper said. "Hank really put on a show." Hank Snook walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Bryan Szabo in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Cody Gibbs in the 8th, struck out in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Kevin Voda in the 12th. |
