Venegas Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Friday, July 30th , 2083 Angel Venegas, right fielder for the Victoria Seals, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 9-3 victory over the Fairbanks Goldpanners at Bucks Ballpark. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends."
