He easily handled Goldpanners pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Seals triumph, 11-9, at Bucks Ballpark. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Toro's quip, Goldpanners skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Ivan Toro doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
