Beachcombers Buried - Out of Playoffs Wednesday, July 21st , 2083 Even the most glass-half-full fans have likely already given up on the 2083 season for the Glendale Beachcombers. The team clinched a rough year today, being mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. This is the club's 34th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2049. In total, the Beachcombers have missed the playoffs 79 times in their 94-year history. Glendale last won the League Championship in 1998. |
