Hitting Streak Still Alive for Nakamura Tuesday, July 25th , 2079 Mighty Gulls second baseman Kazuhide Nakamura has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 1-for-3 in today's game against the Murfreesboro Rifles. East Lansing won the ballgame, 8-4. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Kazuhide Nakamura flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, walked in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. To date this year, Nakamura is batting .273 with 18 home runs. |
