Scott County Loses Masumi Muraoka for Season Tuesday, July 25th , 2079 Masumi Muraoka at first refused to leave today's Louisville-Scott County game after he suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Scott County starting pitcher said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Muraoka out of action for 12-13 months. |
