Boyd Goes 5-for-6 Against Fairbanks Saturday, July 17th , 2083 Steven Boyd really sizzled at the plate in his team's 14-0 win over the Fairbanks Goldpanners. The Saint Paul right fielder blistered Fairbanks for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boyd was too tough to get out today," the Goldpanners skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Steven Boyd grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
