Oyola Guns Down Polecats Monday, July 8th , 2075 Toledo's Jimmy Oyola brought his best stuff to Ballpark of Mastic Beach today, shutting down and shutting out the Mastic Beach Polecats 4-0. He racked up 9 strikeouts, surrendered 6 hits and issued 5 walks on his way to the victory. "We barely made him work at all," Mastic Beach manager said later. "Toledo could probably pitch him again tomorrow if they wanted." To date Oyola is 7-5 in 15 starts with a 2.27 ERA and has 89 strikeouts in 103 innings. View Boxscore |
