Blackbirds Mathematically Out of Playoffs Thursday, July 20th , 2079 Shreveport Blackbirds fans have long since given up any meager playoff hopes. The Blackbirds made it official today, becoming mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. The Blackbirds have missed the playoffs 89 times in their 90 years as a RSL Single A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 46th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2033. Shreveport last won the League Championship in 2033. |
