Baton Rouge SP Jose Barrios Injured Monday, July 17th , 2079 Jose Barrios and the Baton Rouge Grapplers got a bad break in today's game against the Greens as the team confirmed he will miss 7 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The Grapplers starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch. The team doctor is confident he'll make a full recovery. Barrios has made 17 starts, tossed 102.1 innings, struck out 97 batters and walked 30. His record is 6-3 with a 1.58 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .182 batting average. |
