Shreveport Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Saturday, July 10th , 2083 The baseball world has known for a long time that the Shreveport Blackbirds were not destined for the playoffs this year. But now it is official, as the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Blackbirds have missed the playoffs 93 times in their 94 years as a RSL Single A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 50th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2033. |
