Cota Holds Toledo Scoreless Wednesday, July 7th , 2083 Lake Dalecarlia Saxons starter Salvador Cota really did a number on the Toledo Red Dragons, shutting them out, 9-0, on 4 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 7 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Toledo manager . "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Cota."
