Abejas Estrada Suffers Injury Sunday, July 9th , 2079 The Aguascalientes Abejas will have to make do without Armando Estrada for 13 months. He suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Lake Dalecarlia Saxons. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." To date Estrada is 1-1 in 0 starts with a 6.00 ERA and has 12 strikeouts in 15 innings. |
