Miguel Romero Suffers Injury Friday, July 7th , 2079 The Glendale Bruisers were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Miguel Romero left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Romero has suffered bone chips in his elbow and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. So far this year, Romero has made 12 starts, tossed 75.2 innings, struck out 57 batters and walked 26. His record is 7-4 with a 3.09 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .165 batting average. |
