Mel Saldivar discovered that today at Bucks Ballpark, as he smashed three home runs during the 8-2 Scott County Cougars win over the Fairbanks Goldpanners. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Scott County left fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Saldivar finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 4 RBIs.
