The New Orleans Blues first baseman tore up the Orlando Sword Swallowers to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Ballpark of Orlando. The offensive onslaught from Short powered the 7-4 Blues win. "Short was a tough out," Orlando manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Trevor Short singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Joel Breault in the 10th.
