BC Names Top Player of the Week Monday, July 3rd , 2079 It was an extraordinary week for Jamie Thorpe of the Murfreesboro Rifles. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .400, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Beta Conference. Last week Thorpe went 10-for-25, racked up 6 home runs and 12 RBIs and scored 7 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Murfreesboro third baseman. For the year, Thorpe is batting .273 with 13 home runs, 32 RBIs and 20 runs scored. |
