Brand Clobbers 3 HR Against Ensigns Thursday, June 24th , 2083 Geneva catcher Eppe Brand blasted three homers at Royals Ballpark in the 20-2 Greens victory over the Hillsboro Ensigns. For the game, Eppe Brand scored 5 times and knocked in 6 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Brand when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 5-for-6, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Brand told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day."
