Lamarque Batters Glendale for 5 Hits Monday, June 14th , 2083 Alexander Lamarque was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Ballpark of Louisville, the Louisville third baseman blistered the Glendale Beachcombers for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 15-1 victory. "Lamarque was too tough to get out," Beachcombers skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Alexander Lamarque doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and doubled in the 8th.
