Zulueta Gone for Season in Aguascalientes Monday, June 12th , 2079 "I'm frustrated right now," said Aguascalientes starting pitcher Yadel Zulueta. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Abejas, that's where he will be spending 5-6 months. Zulueta suffered shoulder inflammation in today's game against Plano while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." In 6 starts this season, Zulueta has picked up no wins while suffering 2 losses. He has pitched 16.1 innings, allowed 29 hits, struck out 14 and posted a 7.71 ERA. |
