Baton Rouge's Romosinho Will Miss Season
Sunday, June 4th , 2079
The doctors have spoken and Manel Romosinho of the Baton Rouge Grapplers didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Romosinho sustained his season-ending injury during the Aguascalientes Abejas game yesterday at Ballpark of Baton Rouge. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Baton Rouge medical staff reported Romosinho had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11 months.
This year, Romosinho has posted a 3-4 mark in 10 starts and has a 2.92 ERA.
