Alpha Conference Picks Top Player Monday, May 29th , 2079 The Alpha Conference has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Shigenobu Tateishi, catcher of the Mastic Beach Polecats. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .500 pace to win the award. Tateishi went 9-for-18 for the week, totaled 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 3 times.
