Victoria Starter Named BC's Premier Pitcher Monday, May 1st , 2079 In April, when the name of Rhys Knowles appeared on the Victoria lineup card it was a virtual lock on a victory. He started 4 times and chalked up 4 wins and no losses. With those stats it was also a virtual lock that he would be named the Beta Conference Pitcher of the Month. Knowles shackled opposing batters on 18 base hits and a .168 batting average. He rang up 29 strikeouts in 30 innings of work, surrendered 11 walks and fashioned a sparkling 0.90 ERA. |
