Season May Be Over for Stompers Sanchez
Thursday, April 29th , 2083
Louisville left fielder Hector Sanchez could miss the remainder of the season because of a ruptured medial collateral ligament. He exited yesterday's Milwaukee game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Sanchez would be out 9-10 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

At the moment, Sanchez is batting .353 with no home runs and 2 RBIs. He has played in 7 games and scored 2 times.
