St. Louis Loses Sooy for Year Saturday, April 29th , 2079 Whether he wants it or not, Jay Sooy of the St. Louis Hammers will be getting some R and R -- rest and relaxation. The starting pitcher was hurt in today's Hammers-Grapplers game while throwing a pitch. Team officials announced after the game that Sooy had suffered a torn labrum and would be out of action for 9 months. |
