Sky Warriors Silva Gone for Year Sunday, April 16th , 2079 The doctors have spoken and Alejandro Silva of the Madison Sky Warriors didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Silva sustained his season-ending injury during the Milwaukee Explorers game yesterday at Explorers Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Madison medical staff reported Silva had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13 months. |
