Polecats Torpedoed by Bos in 8-0 Loss to Geneva Sunday, April 9th , 2079 The Geneva Greens shut out the Mastic Beach Polecats, 8-0, behind the strong pitching of Norman Bos. Bos surrendered only 2 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 10. Following the last out, Bos appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Mastic Beach manager , who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. Bos's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Polecats skipper would not comment on the exchange but, at the Greens press conference, Bos confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.
