Scavengers Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, August 17th , 2076 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," Eagle Mountain Scavengers starting pitcher Jose Figueroa said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. Eagle Mountain last appeared in the postseason in 2016. This is their 60th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 82 times in their 87 - year history. Eagle Mountain last won the League Championship in 2004. |
