BC's Star Player Named Monday, August 15th , 2078 It was announced today that Salton City third baseman Fernando Valiente was named the Beta Conference Player of the Week Award for his superb play last week. During the week he compiled a .364 batting average (8-for-22) with 4 home runs, 18 RBI and scored 5 runs. At present, Valiente is batting .242 and has collected 10 home runs, 49 RBIs, .306 OBP and scored 34 runs. |
