Bad News for Lamoine, Hugo Abila Hurt Saturday, August 8th , 2082 It took the Lamoine team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Hugo Abila won't simply play through radial nerve compression after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Terrors-Shockwave game. At first, it looked like Abila might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 5 months. Currently Abila has a 0-2 won-lost record in 6 starts with a 7.02 ERA. He also has 22 strikeouts in 16.2 innings. |
