Year Ends for Ricardo Mata in Lamoine Thursday, July 30th , 2082 It took the Lamoine team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Ricardo Mata won't simply play through a torn labrum after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Saints-Shockwave game. At first, it looked like Mata might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 11 months. |
