Selles Grabs AC Reliever of the Year Award Saturday, September 9th , 2079 Emiel Selles was a calming influence out of the Aurora Reds bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 22-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Alpha Conference Reliever of the Year Award for 2079. The Losser, The Netherlands native won the award with 2 saves in 43 relief appearances, 67 strikeouts in 50.2 innings and a record of 1-2 to go with his 1.24 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Chase Kessler of the Tulsa Metalheads finished second in voting, while Josh Sapp of the Lexington Partisans finished third.
