Hitting Streak Still Alive for Ishida Monday, August 16th , 2083 Yoshitsugu Ishida extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games in the 4-1 Tampico triumph over the Pawtucket Patriots. The 22-year-old Bucaneros catcher collected 2 hits in 3 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Yoshitsugu Ishida struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Hugo Soltero in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
