Garza Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Monday, August 2nd , 2083 Danny Garza has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Eagle Mountain right fielder picked up 4 more today against the Rockford Bulldogs and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Scavengers won the game, 6-5. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Danny Garza grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. At the moment, Garza is hitting .305 with 15 home runs and 68 RBIs. He has played in 101 games and scored 53 times. |
